Students and faculty are encouraged to attend the Ronald E. McNair Scholars Program Summer Symposium. Twenty-four McNair Scholars will be presenting their summer research projects from 830am to 5pm.

***ANNOUNCEMENT***
The Ronald E. McNair Scholars Program at Portland State University is accepting applications for the 2008-09 program year.
Applications are due on June 13, 2008 for the cohort starting Winter term 2009. During Winter and Spring, awardees will be enrolled in a McNair Program Seminar designed to prepare scholars for academic research and graduate and doctoral studies. During summer term 2009, scholars will work closely with faculty mentors who will supervise their research projects and papers.

Attend a drop-in session in SMSU M302 on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Wednesdays from 11 am - 12 pm. Or, attend the McNair Program Information Session during the Undergraduate and Ronald E. McNair Research Conference on Thursday, May 29 in SMSU 294.
